Family activities and entertainment

Sport and complicity

Sharing good times with your loved ones, meeting new people and trying your hand at something new - we believe that this is what holidays are all about.

That's why our Domaine Les Carrelets campsite offers a wide range of activities from morning to evening throughout the season. Enjoy a gentle start to the day with soothing activities such as yoga or pilates, then move on to sports and artistic pursuits where energy and a good mood will be on the programme.

In addition to the activities on offer, you will find a multisports ground, table tennis tables and a pétanque ground at the sports field! A gym is also available if you want to stay in shape.

On summer evenings, the fun continues with a host of themed entertainment for young and old: dancing, live concerts on Saturdays, karaoke, shows, and more.

The pleasures of the Atlantic and the Médoc

The fun to be had on holiday is not limited to the campsite. During your stay in Soulac-sur-Mer, in the Médoc Nature Park, just a stone's throw from the Atlantic, be sure to spend time visiting and making the most of the activities on offer at sea and on dry land!

If you want to explore the local area, you can do so by bike, on foot, on horseback, on quad bike, or even on an all-terrain electric scooter! The Vélodyssée and the Camino de Santiago de Compostela are just 3 km away. And if motorcycles are more your thing, you will love the Show Bike, a huge gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts held every third weekend in June in Vendays-Montalivet.

And if you want to take full advantage of the ocean, try your hand at surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing or canoeing!

Unique sightseeing attractions

Experience an authentic holiday in Soulac-sur-Mer. Be charmed by the seaside resort's neo-colonial architecture and unspoilt natural coastline. For an entertaining tour of the town with a treasure hunt, use the free Terra aventura app.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Museum of Art and Archaeology to delve deeper into the area’s rich history and learn more about its history. And on the first weekend in June, travel back in time during the Soulac 1900 festival.

From Soulac's central beach, take a moment to admire the Cordouan lighthouse, the last French lighthouse still manned year-round that can be visited during a short boat trip. And if you fancy some oysters and prawns after all this exploring, head over to the oyster ports and farms to learn all about this fascinating profession and indulge in some tasting. Additionally, make sure to visit the Hourtin dunes and marshes national nature reserve as well as the surrounding villages, such as Montalivet, Jau Dignac and La Pointe de Grave, to mention just a few.
